Using SURGE

SURGE lets organizers sell tickets and lets fans buy them, transfer them and, where allowed, resell them. You agree to give accurate information and to use tickets only as the organizer intends.

Tickets and entry

A ticket is a license to enter one event once. Organizers can refuse entry for safety or legal reasons. A ticket that has been scanned, transferred or voided is no longer valid.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors earn what the organizer sets for each event: a commission, rewards, or both. Commission is paid on the basis the organizer chose, at sale or when a guest checks in. Sales that are refunded, or check-ins that are undone, are taken back. Buying through your own link earns nothing.

Fees

See the fees page. Organizers decide whether buyers pay the fees or the organizer absorbs them.

Resale

Tickets may be resold only through SURGE at or below face value where the organizer allows it. Organizers may charge a resale fee.

Liability

SURGE provides the platform. Events are run by organizers, who are responsible for the event itself.
